friendly staff amazing location poor gym limited equipment

i found the staff very friendly. the breakfast had a lot of options. the location was amazing. it was on top of the beach and next to the main street. the two pools were both nice, and i enjoyed the pool bar with happy hour.

The room was clean enough on check in but a daily clean was a struggle. The 'please clean my room' door hanger must translate to 'do not disturb' in thai, because they never cleaned the room when the sign was up, even when i was gone all day. the gym is poor, it has very limited and poorly maintained equipment.

serene beachfront escape

fantastic location evening markets high standard

The location was fantastic. it adjoined the beach, and the evening markets were close (just a short walk!). long tail boats offered taxi service to railay beach. breakfast and other meals were of a high standard. I especially loved the fresh fruit selection.

the bathroom had a persistent sewage smell, not pleasant at all. the plumbing system seemed old and might need maintenance.

the room was spacious with a comfortable double bed. a pleasant balcony seating area overlooked the tropical gardens. there was also a clean bathroom, a bonus.

reception and breakfast staff were friendly and accommodating (especially the person at the egg station!). the staff were always helpful, and their friendliness stood out.

the breakfast buffet was generous with fresh options daily. there were fresh fruits, salads, cereals, and pastries available. it catered to different tastes (a great start to the day!).
